Bann Ladies 3s have nothing to show for long trip after narrow defeat
Raphoe started strong, with good movement giving them a number of early opportunities in the D, all of which were well defended by the Banbridge defence.
With the usual goalkeeper Louise Beckett away, Emma Leeper stepped into goals and made numerous excellent saves, despite just returning from injury. The Banbridge midfield and forwards worked well together, with some excellent passing from Punam McGookin.

Hide AdHowever, fast movement and passing from Raphoe saw a lucky attack in the D leading to what turned out to be the winning goal.
The Banbridge Ladies composed themselves well after this, and the second half of the match saw some excellent play from Claire Anderson and Rebecca Dale, who both stepped up from the Fours.
Banbridge Ladies were unlucky to miss out on a goal, as a series of three short corners were well defended by Ballyclare.
Despite a 1-0 defeat, Bann showed some promising play.
