Hide AdMervyn Ferris, Chair of the Ballymoney Committee, stresses the importance of enjoying the sun safely: "It's important to look after ourselves when the sun's out. Sunburn is a sign of damage.
“The redness may fade but the damage is still permanent. A few things you can do include staying in the shade between 11 and 3, and aim to cover up with a t-shirt, hat and sunglasses. Make sure you never burn and never use a sunscreen below factor 15 and remember to take extra care with children".
