Annual Presidential rally in Portadown
A lovely supper was provided at the end of the evening by the senior CE that runs each Monday night.
The evening started with the Rev Jackie Spence leading a time of praise. Then the unions local President Rev Nick Cooper started the service with a hymn called “Sing to God new songs of worship”. Mrs Helen Coote from Hill Street Juniors CE opened in prayer.

Hide AdThe pianist for the evening was Mrs Mcllveen from Hill Street which helped the congregational singing greatly. The praise group from Ballyreagh Presbyterian church sang four songs throughout the service.
Mrs Rosemary McDaniels local union secretary give a report on what had happened throughout the year.
A
further hymn was sang by the congregation “Who is on the Lord’s side”. The Bible reading was read
by Mr Clive Kelly from Clonanesse Presbyterian and it was from Matthew chapter 29. Rev Cooper

Hide Adgave a report on how his year in office went and all the CE’s he went to see. Nicks theme for the
year was “Nothing is Impossible with God” and then it was time to hand over the chain of office to
Mrs Pauline Condy from Clonanesse. Pauline has taken for her theme for the year “Serving a Faithful
God”. The Irish President of CE in Ireland finished the evening with encouraging us to “To go into all
the world and tell people of Jesus”. The closing hymn was “ I will sing the wondrous story” and Mrs
Pauline Condy closed in prayer.
