Planners asked to reconsider Hillhall planning refusal

A LISBURN Councillor has called on the Planning Service to reconsider its refusal to grant permission for a housing development on the Hillhall Road.

The proposal for houses at Croft Farm on the Hillhall Road came before the Planning Committee of Lisburn City Council this week with a recommendation from the Planning Service that the application be refused.

However, Alderman Jim Dillon proposed it should be given further consideration by the Management Board. His proposal was seconded by Councillor Basil McCrea.
